MITL is pleased to partner with Electric Mobility Canada in the organization of a special session with no registration fee that will take place the afternoon of Monday May 29, 2017 at the EV2017VE Conference Hotel noted above.

McMaster University has programs and facilities providing notable impetus to the development of electric mobility in Canada. McMaster’s Institute for Transportation Logistics (MITL) is currently carrying out a unique study on the Social Costs and Benefits of Electric Mobility in Canada. This 9 module study examines the views of consumers and fleet managers, including public transit, towards the adoption of EVs. It also examines the economic, environmental and societal costs and benefits of EVs adoption scenarios. Completed research and progress reports of the study will be presented. McMaster’s Automotive Resource Centre (MARC) is one of North America’s largest automotive research facilities focused on electric mobility. An overview of the facilities and current projects will be presented. Session delegates can also attend the Welcoming Reception for the EV2017VE Conference taking place immediately following the session at which there will be a cash bar.
