Dr. Weeberb Réquia
Diploma in Environmental Engineering (Catholic University of Brasilia, Brazil), Master in Environmental Planning and Management (Catholic University of Brasilia, Brazil), PhD in Geoscience (Geoscience Institute, University of Brasilia, Brazil; and School of Public Health, Harvard University, United States - as doctoral exchange program). His research focuses on the investigation of human exposures to gaseous and particulate air pollutants. He is also interested in spatial models to assess the relationship between air pollution and human health at local, regional and global scales. This has involved quantitative methods in Geographical Information Systems (GIS), land use models, geostatistical models, and multiple-criteria decision analysis.
