On October 15th-16th, 2012 MITL & SCL are hosting our 4th TRANSLOG Conference at the McMaster University, DeGroote School of Business, Ron Joyce Centre in Burlington, ON.

TRANSLOG is a leading forum for the exchange of ideas relating to the latest theoretical and applied research in freight and goods movement.  Because the efficiency and sustainability of freight movements is very much intertwined with other transportation elements, TRANSLOG will also explore non-freight themes.
 
This unique two day event will bring together transportation and logistics leaders from academia, government and the private sector and will feature keynote presentations, interactive discussions, and targeted breakout sessions that will ensure a lively environment to exchange views.

The TRANSLOG 2012 Scientific Committee members are organizing academic presentations in their specific areas of research.  Please contact them through the link above if you are interested in presenting in one of their sesssions. 

Industry and Government Sessions

If you are interested in presenting, or would like to organize a special session, please contact Bob Armstrong.

Student Paper Award

The Conference sponsors a Best Student Paper Award.  The winner is chosen from student academic submissions based on recommendations from the program review committee, and will be presented at the conference.   Best Paper prize is $1000.00; Runner-up paper prize is $500.00. Abstract submissions are due June 15th and final student papers are due:  August 15, 2012.  Winners will be required to attend and present at the conference.
