MITL Event: Insights on Canada’s Transition to Electric Mobility

On November 29th, 2018 MITL hosted its Insights on Canada’s Transition to Electric Mobility event at the Ron Joyce Centre in Burlington, Ontario. With MITL and its partners approaching the conclusion of a five-year federally funded project, The Social Costs and Benefits of Electric Mobility in Canada, the research team reported on results, largely from the latter stages of the research, and provided some integration of findings from the overall project. The research team would like to thank those who attended the event, those who presented their research findings, industry partners who participated in the panel discussion, and of course our research partners and stakeholders who have supported the project over the past five years. Thanks also to Mr. Al Cormier for moderating the event. We would particularly like to thank our keynote speaker, Professor Kara Kockelman from the University of Texas at Austin, who travelled a long way to share her experience and insights on November 29th.
